Gava Finance (V. C. Consultancy) operates as a Direct Selling Agent (DSA) in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This page outlines our compliance framework and how we adhere to regulatory standards in our loan advisory and facilitation activities.
1. Our Role as a DSA
Gava Finance (V. C. Consultancy) is a Direct Selling Agent registered with its partner lending institutions. As a DSA, we source loan applications from potential borrowers and submit them to our partner banks and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) for their independent evaluation and approval. We do not lend money directly, nor do we set interest rates, loan terms, or approval criteria — these are entirely determined by the partner lender.
2. RBI Guidelines Adherence
We comply with all applicable RBI Master Directions, circulars, and guidelines relevant to DSA operations, including but not limited to:
- RBI Master Direction on Fair Practices Code for Lenders — we ensure all communications with borrowers are transparent, honest, and free from coercion or misleading representations.
- RBI Guidelines on Outsourcing of Financial Services — all our activities as a DSA are conducted within the outsourcing framework prescribed by RBI for regulated entities.
- RBI Know Your Customer (KYC) Norms — we facilitate KYC document collection as required by partner lenders and in accordance with Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) obligations of those lenders.
- RBI Customer Protection Guidelines — we do not charge borrowers any upfront fees. All costs are disclosed before any formal application is submitted.
3. No Direct Lending
Important Notice
Gava Finance (V. C. Consultancy) does NOT lend money directly to borrowers. We are not a bank, NBFC, or any form of regulated lending institution. Loan approval, disbursement, and all associated terms are solely the responsibility of the partner lender. Gava Finance acts only as an intermediary to facilitate the application process.
4. Fair Practices Code
In line with RBI's Fair Practices Code framework, we commit to:
- Providing borrowers with clear, accurate, and complete information about the loan products we facilitate.
- Not misrepresenting loan terms, interest rates, or approval likelihood.
- Obtaining explicit consent from borrowers before submitting their application to any lender.
- Disclosing our DSA status and relationship with partner lenders to borrowers on request.
- Not collecting any upfront processing fees, security deposits, or advance payments from borrowers.
- Maintaining confidentiality of borrower information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Grievance Redressal
If you have any complaints about our services, you may contact us at vcconsultancy@gmail.com. For complaints related to a specific lender, borrowers may escalate directly to the lender's Grievance Redressal Officer as per RBI guidelines, or contact the RBI Banking Ombudsman at www.rbi.org.in.
6. Data Protection Compliance
We handle all personal and financial data of borrowers in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws in India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (where applicable). Borrower data is shared with lenders only after explicit consent and is not sold or shared with any third party for commercial purposes.
